When Netflix announced a live action adaptation of Shinichirō Watanabe’s Cowboy Bebop, we were rightfully skeptical/worried. We had just dealt with the atrocity that was Netflix’s Death Note, which personally left me with a sore throat from angrily yelling at the screen…but I have to say after all the promotional material we’ve seen I’m all in.

Is it possible for us to get a live action adaptation of such a beloved series and not have complaints? Of course not, but it looks like we’re still going to get a fun re-imagining and expansion of a world we love brought into a new medium and with a cast that I already love. Enough of your “John Cho is too old” or “Faye is wearing too much clothes.” The only current criticism I’m taking before we watch is WHERE THE FUCK IS ED?!

What we’re getting isn’t going to ruin the original, if anything I think it will get a completely different audience to see what lead to this. something for new fans, old fans, and random people that just watch whatever Netflix drops because it’s just how the streaming world works now…anyway, come November 19th, I don’t know about you, but I’ll be binging the entire season in one sitting.

Hey what’s up! It’s me Chris AKA TimeLordBurrito. It’s been a while but I’ve decided to start some new content ideas for the main site. Welcome to the first Nacho Opinion! I’m not a writer but sometimes things excite, annoy, or befuddle me and this will be my (and maybe other members of the team’s) way of expressing it.
