- LET’S PLAY from ACHIEVEMENT HUNTER – As Rooster Teeth expanded and introduced us to Achievement Hunter, gaming on Youtube had become more prevalent. With some forethought on behalf of Geoff Lazer Ramsey, the gang formed the Let’s Play channel. Filled with comedy, GTA V heists, and plenty of Minecraft, the Let’s Play channel is one of the most well known and well received in the gaming world.
- HATFILMS – Sure Achievement Hunter may have Michael “Rage Quit” Jones, but how about a trio of british loudmouths? HatFilms, which consists of Alsmiffy, Ross, and Trottimus, are both gamers and film makers. Many of their Let’s Play series have quite intriguing narratives as well as crazy commentary.
- MARKILPLIER – Just a normal good hearted guy that enjoys scaring the CRAP out of himself. Markiplier puts out copious amounts of content, which would take quite sometime to consume in it’s entirety, and has a great balance between his scare let’s plays and something more level headed.
- GAME GRUMPS – While most let’s play channels focus on the new games coming out, Game Grumps likes to focus on the classics, along with some more recent Nintendo titles. On top of that, their second series, Steam Train, has them wade through just about anything available on Steam…whether its good or not.
- SEANANNERS – Do you like Garry’s Mod and the odd games built from it? Than you’ll love Seananners. Prop Hunt, Trouble in Terrorist Town, Hide and Seek…all of these and more are in constant rotation on this channel.
- HONORABLE MENTION: KINDA FUNNY GAMES – Once members of the IGN team, Colin, Greg, Tim, and Nick all quit to start their own, fan supported (as in they get paid if the fans pay), content providing group. With news, let’s plays, weekly Smash Bros games, and more Kinda Funny Games is looking to jump into the hearts and minds of many gamers out there. Keep up the good work guys.
